#EndSARS Movement: What I have learnt, what I am learning

Power is a beast

I have learnt that power is not human;

I am learning that power is a beast.

I have learnt to not protest against an animal that is set to attack me.

I am learning that my weapons are not carnal, and the fight is not against flesh and blood;

That it is also beastly to murder someone for being possessed by a beast.

I have learnt that power is not always the same, for some it is a zero-sum game.

I am learning that power cannot be killed, but can be transformed.

I am learning to engage by staying human, and to access love.

In honour of the dead; in hope for the future: continue, learn.
